Reef Culture
Researching new feeds and equipment, while also promoting the growth and increasing the standard of the marine aquarium industry.

Established in 2002, Reef Culture began as a marine fish hatchery, initially concentrating on clownfish, and later branching into cardinal fish and seahorses. During this time a variety of nutritious feeds and enrichment formulas were researched and manufactured to assist with the process of larval fish development and growth. Winter 2004 saw the launch of “Reef Culture Magazine”, our now internationally distributed publication. Reef Culture Magazine delves into the art of marine aquarium keeping, as well as various aspects of the marine environment such as SCUBA, underwater photography, and marine conservation.

2004 also saw us launching our online store, to help provide quality aquarium equipment at respectable prices to enthusiasts Australia wide. Our aim was to provide products that may be hard to find that are extremely beneficial for our marine inhabitants. Not only were fish foods researched, but nutrition for your entire reef ecosystem.

Due to our research, feeds such as micro algae concentrates and blends, golden pearls, concentrated enriched rotifers and arctic copepods, as well as our specially designed and manufactured food for corals and invertebrates “Coral Diet”, are now available in Australia in convenient sizes for the aquarist.

Our Wholesale arm was also established to help disseminate products which we believe to be “the next evolutionary step” in marine aquarium keeping. All of these products are of extremely high quality and either made here in Australia or imported from countries such as Germany, Singapore and the United States of America to ensure that only the highest quality and best practices are used.

Our aim is to continue to research new feeds and equipment, while also promoting the growth and increasing the standard of the marine aquarium industry within Australia.
